Re: Truck weight.
3330 is right in the ballpark for most 3100 trucks. After that it is the details on modified trucks that add or reduce weight.
I took my mom's 77 F 250 to the dump one day and the scrap yard the next a few months ago and there was a 500 lb difference between the scales but I figured that the scrap yard scale was spot on. It was the one that weighed lighter. At the dump you only cared about the difference between loaded and empty and I seldom go over the minimum in that truck anyhow.
