I think i would go with an 800 dp Holley......you wont hurt the bottom end power with that many cubes. I ran an 800 dp on a warmed up 455 olds, &thought I would try a 750 vac secondary for mileage.......the milage wasnt any better, & it didnt run as good with the smaller carb!
