Re: Problem with Brake Lights on 72 Blazer

Thanks Noble 1221. I did not check the continuity of each fuse but I did check the voltage at both ends of each fuse and they all read good. The condition of the fuse panel is very bad, oily and dirty. I tried to remove the fuse panel last year to clean it and check the wiring but could not get it off the firewall. Its probably stuck there for a long time and I didn't want to brake it.
I have not checked the voltage at the brake switch yet, had back surgery last Dec. so I have to take the seats out to get under the dash. :-( Planning on doing that next week to see what it looks like.
Putting new carpet in the front along with new PUI seat covers and installing new body bushings. Also taking out some springs in the front and rear that the previous owner put in to lift it up about 4".
Lots of work. I'll post what I find incase some else has the same problem.
