What is the C/R number? I am working on a 1962 GMC 4x4 and have found some parts on Rock Auto that I can't find anywhere else.

You might give them a shot. Its also a good place to grab alternate part numbers. I did my D44 on my 72 a little while ago, and I don't seem to remember having any issue with spindle seals, but I ended up using National vs. Chicago Rawhyde.
