Re: 1972 C20 -Airride conversion-

update, for the one's wondering where this has been.

I've been enjoying the truck after the conversion.
Didn't have any major flaws or breaks on the things i've changed.
Had an e-brake actuator fail, replaced that.
Got a new steering wheel, and in the meantime rebuild my steering column and steering box.

The air cleaner for the aircompressor fell apart a couple of times, so i decided to make a solid one from a sbc 305 air cleaner.

Changed the dryrotted old tyres for fresh new ones.

Then I decided to go on a roadtrip vacation with the truck.
So, got a campershell on top, made some simple cabinets and a bed inside.
Also made a roofrack on top of the campershell, for a spare tyre, spare feul, some water and a wooden crate for tools and stuff.
Also figured this was a good time to change fluids and get new filters.
And lastly nut and bold checked the entire truck.

Went on a 2400 mile trip to and trough Norway, which was an amazing experience.
halfway in Denmark:

Then in Norway:

But also had some issues, nothing major.

Had my throttlecable come apart

And the ignition points burned in, so spark was not great, to the point it really didn't want to do more than idle.

So took some sandpaper to the points, and ghetto replaced the cable with a universal cable and was able to easily continue the trip.
