I took it all apart, tig welded a bigger lip on iot and ground it smooth.... between draining, drying, tig (grinding cause my tig sucks) and reassmbly 2 hours. THOUGHT I had it fixed ... but then about 10 minutes later a small leak .... Im talking about a drop every 10 minutes now.

So I gave it three more turns on the tightening screw and dried it off ...... if that doesnt work ....... think I will need a new thermostat housing and hose .....

Really stunned this has been so hard and I cant figure it out ..... Im as certain as I can be its not the thermostat ..... and coming from the hose through the clamp ....

Might have to go with a 90 of each end and a new hose to get a better angle like you said ....
