Rear Suspension Help

Okay, after pricing out narrowed rear frame kits for my 1968 C-10 Short Widebed I decided to just keep the stock frame rails in place and go from there. When I bought the truck it had 31x16.5 Mickeys on it and the rear and the original trailing arms were swapped out for a set of leafsprings and to get it down low they added 2-2" lowering blocks. Needless to say there's not much movement in the suspension. On top of that there's only about 1" of clearance between the bottom of the frame and the top of the axle but I'm ordering a C-Notch kit to slove that problem. My question is, is it safe to have 4" of block under there? Seems like you'd get an awful lot of spring wrap under hard acceleration. Also, I need to see if any one has pics of a Ladder bar setup being used with stock frame rails or is that not a smart idea? Thanks in Advance!

Got to www.badass70nova.com to see all of the pics of my 1970 Nova and by the way it's for sale!!! 10,500.00 OBO
