If my memory serves me right it's because of the vent window being in the line of sight if you use the drivers side measurement on the passenger side. They move the passenger side further back so the view is clear.

I know these are not the mirrors you are using but just thought I would add this. The shop manuals I have have no measurements for adding them even though they show them. The written part doesn't even say what they are. That one paragraph is all it states on them. I checked all 3 of my manuals for this.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
