Re: Went to a Bigger Blazer

Wow, I'd forgotten about this thread.

Let me say that the blazer has CHANGED ALOT since then.

Some of the changes were just detail/personnel choice while others were mandatory to get it to the next step of drive-ability/function and performance.

* Removed the hard top for a softie
*Changed to 39.5 TSL's w/Staun bead-locks
*Tires mandated a fair amount of fender trimming
*Installed a set of inner fenders
*Relocated front shocks to take advantage of the available travel
*Installed a K series th400 case and had it totally rebuilt
*Installed new shift rails in the doubler set up
*Fabbed up a rear mount for the 205
*Installed a Warn 9K winch
*High steer kit from ORD
*Hydro/ram assist steering from PCS
*Spooled the front Dana 60 and added a 4340 alloy axle set
*New front drive shaft from High Angle w/12" slip joint
*On board CO/2 air from Power Tank
*Replaced all bearings/seals on both axles
*Detroit locker in the rear
*Electric two speed fan
*Pinion protection added

Still need/want to do:
Gas tank skid plate
Get the TPI installed
Re-skin the rear quarter and fab up a slider that will tie into a small exo cage to protect the rear quarter panels/lights
Repaint

It's been an interesting road to get to this point, I've learned alot about alot.
