Found it works much better with wife holding the copper backing flush at back rather than the 1/16th gap I was dealing with.
Also got rear positioned .. mocked.
Had to weld in the spring perch holes and redrill to 0.485 " .....
And then ground out to fit axle tube better as was slightly small.
