Ezrider_92356, look at your VIN. Look at the 10th digit (8th digit from the right). I'm almost willing to bet it's a 4, making it a '94.

Correct, in GM's case sometime in September is their changeover. Keith Seymore explained it in another thread in the 73-87 section:

Sure. Sept 16, 1985 calendar year would be the start of the 1986 model year. The new models typically come out in the September-ish timeframe.
A relatively early build, apparently. VINs start at 100001 and yours is in the 113,000 range.
My truck was built a year later (almost to the day) in Flint Michigan. Built on Sept 29, 1986 (1987 model) and they had already built more than 317,000 units in Flint.
