Yes, I should add that you can do it with a shift kit as well. What I meant is that there is no external mechanical adjustment (like a TV cable) that can change things. Programming can increase line pressure. On my 4L60E (before I went T56), it had a shift kit along with a slightly higher stall converter. It would easily spin the tires when it hit 2nd gear (and that was on 295 rear rubber). If you are doing a shift kit AND programming, you need to really go over things with the tuner and make sure the line pressures aren't too high (along with shift points, rear gears, tire height, etc).
