I spoke too soon...

It happens all the time, I think that I'm done with a part of the truck and it turns out that I'm not. I posted a while ago that I was done with chassis mods. I wasn't.

I knew that I was going to have to move the front and rear bumpers up to compensate for my 2" body lift. I thought that I would just fabricate some new brackets and that would be it. After looking at the way that the front bumper is mounted to the chassis, I decided that modifying the chassis was the best solution.

Here's the truck with the body lifted and the bumper in its normal position.

I'll probably choose to modify the chassis again to move the receiver hitch up 2". I wont know until I mount the bed.
