im selling a 1987 original fleet side white tail gate removed the first day of purchase..
the owner told me his son bought the 1987 Silverado new at courtesy Chevrolet in phoenix and removed the tailgate covered it in a blanket and slid it under his bed then bought a slide in camper shell for the truck. a short while later he was in an accident and did not survive. his parents keep the tailgate for all those years and last year they decided to retire and down size. so they wanted to let it go. being at the right place at the right time! im the new owner.
i am deep into a restoration of a 71 and 72 and i don't see a square body in my future. so im offering it up for sale. asking price is 1800.00. i would rather sell locally but would crate and ship for additional cost.
This tailgate is FLAWLESS and has the center trim included. i will take a few pics soon
