It looks more like a 69 from a distance because it is solid silver/argent. But it does have MOST OF the raised bars embossed on the 70s. So it's sorta cast for a '70 and sorta colored like a '69.

I agree it's a mix of 69 and 70. And... I've thought about sanding the raised bars off mine so it would be correct for my truck. I've never studied a repro inner grille, but I'm not sure it's painted correctly for a 69 either.
EDIT: Hmm, this should probably be a separate thread subject.
