My dad had two heart attacks in his late-40s. It was diabetes that took him at 80. I mind my diet.

These are some hot peppers
Are those Dragons Breath?

My dad had a triple bypass when he was in his 50's. He was overweight and also had diabetes. He had a stroke and a few heart attacks. The last one got him.
He tried to watch his diet. But the guy liked to eat. Even my mother's lousy cooking. She hates to cook and it showed in the food. She's almost 90 now and I don't think she owns a pot or pan anymore. Probably a good thing. I remember the garbage she would make.

I remember sitting at the table with some horror show in front of me. I wouldn't eat it and she told me that I couldn't leave the table until I cleaned my plate. I tried to give it to the dog when she wasn't looking. And the dog wouldn't eat it.
