You really don't need to run roller rockers unless you are running a high lift cam. Keep the stock rockers and spend the money on a good dual plane aluminum manifold, (Edelbrock Performer, Weiand, to name a few).

Plus you would need a new manifold should you switch to Vortec heads.

You don't mention what you are going to be running the motor in, (blazer, Suburban, C 10, 4X4, or?). Is this going to be your daily driver, or just a weekend warrior fun truck?

It is hard to recommend a set of heads, until you know how the vehicle is going to be used.
If it's a light truck, then you can run heads that make more hp and torque in the higher RPM range. If you have a heavy truck, (such as my 3/4 ton heap), then you will be better off with low RPM torque.
It all depends on what your plans are.
