The main purpose of repairing this floor section was to see if i still had the patience and brains to do it before I get back into the main body portions of the 3 blazers & panel truck that i can't buy new parts for. It has been at least 20 years since I last did any metal work of this nature. As far as the cross members the only bad spots I could see were directly below the floor rot and I will be repairing that as well as putting rust neutralizer on it. My labor is the cheapest part of the work. If i had to pay someone..... no it would not happen, but since I can do the work it leaves my money for buying the other major parts that I cant repair like the drive train parts that need restoring.

Most women like the strong, silent type… Fortunately for me, my wife prefers the out-of-shape, mouthy type.
