Hey I am with you, Not to piss in somebodies cheerios, But if you look in the aftermarket H.P. diesel crowd look at the majority of the motors being boosted. I saw a crew take a cummins with over 200,000 on the clock. Made over 800hp 1200tq . The only thing they did to the motor besides the normal bolt on go fast parts was remove the head, port and polish it, and put it back on.
Now again, I am not trying to piss anybody off, just stating what I have seen. I do own a 3500 Dodge with the cummins (stock) and there is now comparison when it comes down to the grunt of a heavy load.
