It would seem that alot of the Blazers here in California that had A/C had the double wall tops. Now I have also had several Blazers without A/C that had double wall tops but I could usually trace them to states that were either back East or North. No real way to tell what came with what.

Each of the 2 tops are pretty much the same from the outside. The double wall tops have an interior shell added that makes it quite heavy.

Both top use the same rear hatch.

Any Blazer or Jimmy out there has both the threaded inserts (single wall top) and the holes (double wall tops) so they can go either way.

The single wall tops bolt down while the double wall tops bolt up.

I have seen several tops that were done with the bedliner and it is tough and looks good so long as it is done professionally. Keeping it thin seems to be the key to good looks. Just dont let them lay it on like they do for the bed of the trucks. About 1/4" thick for the bed of a truck and 1/16" for the top looks good.
