Hi Steve,

No you only need 2 inside brackets, if you look at the floor of you 87 (i assume this is a truck and not a K5) you will see why.

What I did for the ones I used, I used my original back seat bracket as a template and heated them my map gas and bent them , took about 5 mins.
I bent them right at the same spot where they are already bent.

Ok Funny story go to youtube and search for install bucket seats in a 73-87 truck. This guy spends hours replacing the part the fastens to the floor, when all he had to do was to bend it.
