Yes, its the original seat in there, just covered up by that "red-headed step-child" of a seat cover. Stuffed my hand under the red this afternoon, and can feel a foam pad under the red, and the original seat material - could feel the vinyl/cloth and a peek of it being green... Just is it should be. Once I get the red out, I'll see what I'm dealing with regarding the original seat/upholstery... it will be going back to factory stock appearance.

That's cool, I can't wait to see what it looks like. Here's the one I found. No broken springs. It will just need the foam on the seat back, which is just a slab of foam.
