Yessir. My truck has always had the white closed-cell foam pad laid down first, followed by a thick heavy tar-like layer (heavier than 30lb roofing), with the rubber floormat on top. When I installed the last mat, the foam and the tarpaper were both in poor condition so I got new ones and put them in. Darned if I can find the receipts though, so I'm not sure where I bought them. I bought the floormat from Wes, so I probably bought the underlayment materials from him too. But I don't see them on his website anymore, just the mat. Which is all I need, but the last one I bought from him is falling apart already, so.....
