I completely agree.
Organizations like the NHRA and SEMA have
fought proposed legislation (especially from the great state of California
) that would eliminate or greatly limit the use/ownership of vehicles prior to 1980. That's been quite a while, if it comes back up, I'm sure they'd love to bump it to 1990+ If we all didn't support these organizations, removing "old cars" from our roads would have likely happened long ago.
