The solution to the problem is that to use these spindles you must use MOOG ball joints. Mario from CPP is going to get with Western to see why you can't use any balljoint ie Advance brand. The problem lies in the upper balljoint taper and Moog is the only ball joint that will fit. i won't be able to put them on till after the holidays to be sure, but hand fitting them they seem to fit better than the others i tried.
