“They all leaked from the factory”

The words of my very good friend Dennis in St Louis who used to work for GM in the 70’s and early 80’s

So I live over in England and my 79 Blazer certainly leaks as much as anything that may leak. Which means LMC and the other suppliers are not just up thr road.

My question is this.......

What is the consensus on what foam seal to fit between the fiberglass cap/canopy and the body?

Some original GM part or use an alternative type of high density type foam to seal it from leaking ??
