Take pictures and start a build thread , lots of those year trucks around for cheep and lots of people doing the ls swap , myself included .
I had a 49 3100 with a 79 camaro clip in front , it rode like crap with the huge leafs in back . I changed them out for ladder bars and coilovers , and the thing drove like a Porsche , huge difference
The rear suspension on 67 -72 chevy trucks with coil springs is one best ever designed , as good as an a-body , and way better than an f body or nova
