I started out with a 1985 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 with no title that supposedly had a blown up motor. She was in pretty tough shape, but the price was right. The motor I acquired is a 6059 6 cylinder turbo diesel John Deere with very low hours, & in great shape.

I ended up getting the tired 350 gas engine to run after tinkering around with it, & eventually taking it out in a chiseled corn field to find out that the front axle jumps out of 4x4... good to know
