I can verify the 73-87 seals are to big. Long ago I ordered seals for my 72 and they sent me the 73-87 style. I thought I'd go ahead and try them so I glued the passenger side seal on and tried to shut the door. First few tries didn't work so I slammed it shut, (harder than I should have). Well it latched but it took me about 2 weeks to get it back open... I still have a dent in the door right below the window on the inside where I had to kick it to get it open!

Now I have a set of reproduction ones of the correct style and you've come up with some that are better yet? Arrgh!!! Just my luck...
