unlikely that you can remember. Been there, done that.
I remember the census before the internet. Back then a visit was pretty much inevitable. Nowadays if you fill out the stuff online, you don't have to deal with a face to face visit.
The census takers are not supposed to to discuss the people that they interview, but they are an invaluable source of information as to what they see as they go about their day. Things like three golf carts parked next to a dumpster, or a really old truck parked somewhere...
