Man, this build thread is quite a saga. You've been through a lot. My strong suggestion is that you put the rig back together in its entirety. You can then decide what you're going to do for graphics. And once the graphics are done you can decide what to do with the wheels, if anything. All of the colors that you described, IMO, would be a little too sudden if they were on the wheels. If you add a graphic to the body, you can echo that with something subtle on the wheels, a pinstripe or something. But you don't need to make that decision now. I'd get that rig together and enjoy driving it that way for a while.
