Step 1: Found an old fencepost on the side of the road. Cut 2 notches to fit between the 2 seams where the door weatherstrip adheres. Took a piece of 4" channel and welded to flanges with holes. Removed the bolt holding the chain on my engine hoist and bolted the channel to the end of the arm.





Step 2: Raise the cab. Didn't have to take the 4 speed shifter off. Lifted the cab in the air, then pulled the hoist out from under the frame. Moved the frame back from the cab and lowered the cab closer to the ground.



Step 3: clean the portion under the cab I couldn't reach before!
