I only know Lee Michaels to the extent I have "Do You Know What I Mean" on my music collection. Very cool tune. As for Syd Barrett, yeah I think he liked acid a lot. I didn't know he if he produced anything decent, but some are kind of nice. Floyd's Wish You Were Here is about Barrett.

My dad was accomplished in the music scene, old school high on swing and melodies. He always said Engelbert Humperdinck's voice was second to none. I do like some of his songs (VINTAGE) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch_Fz2Np-Z4

I like that Youngblood's tune. Don't know much about em, though Get Together is one of my favorites. My ex. hates it, but that's why she's my ex

Now you've done it. Poor Side of Town is on my favorites of favorites play list. Since "you" brought up my favorite of favorites, here's another. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgHxmAsINDk

Another. I'm a sucker for a nice melody: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sonLd-32ns4
