all I'll say is this.. go get a napa gold filter (P/N 1060) which is nothing but a rebadged Wix filter, and cut it open... then cut open your beloved fram, and you will never screw another one onto your motor.
Yes, you can get 275,000 miles with fram filters.... we also got 265,000 miles on the original automatic overdrive in a ford F-150 in a fleet driven truck that had been abused and beaten... totaled 3 times, and only had the fluid chainged once at 95,000 miles. Anything can happen.
however, if you know what you are looking at... and even if you don't know, but just have common sence...crack open the 2 filters and have a look see. Go ahead, spend the 18 bucks to look at them yourself.
As far as John Force... even the Rolling Stones sold out. Money talks.
