Interesting point. At a minimum, I would think the diameter matches the side being adapted (5/16). Any smaller would restrict flow. I'm betting some smart engineer designed them to support the proper flow.

I ordered the Ebay fittings this morning. I still need the TFE hose and 90 degree 6-AN fittings. I plan to flip the hydroboost so the fittings are on the bottom. I think that would make for a cleaner install. Does anyone know if flipping it will cause a problem?
