Define burned? Dark black dry, black oily, etc.

If it is shutting off like someone flipping a switch, probably a loose or shorting wire in the run circuit? When just sitting or driving over bumpy road? Cold or at good running temperature? Did you change the condenser too (little metal can looking thing in the distributor)? You can isolate the circuit by running a jump from the positive battery terminal directly to the hot side of the coil (side that does not go to the distributor). Starter circuit will turn it over to get started. If it runs fine and does not quit start looking for loose bad wires. If still dies then in the coil/distributor.

If it is stumbling and sputtering before dying then probably a fuel issue, but you have pretty much taken care of those except fuel pump.
