Thanks! It's a 20mm ammo can. The only hitch is, in original form, the lid unlatches at both ends and comes completely off. I wanted it hinged but didn't have a good idea for it. A friend cut the latch off what is now the back side, and used it to make a piano hinge, welded it back to the can and lid, and welded a stop into it. Pics below of what he did, and it works well. It's not bolted in the truck yet, but it's centered in the pic and will be when it's bolted down. I would have been fine with a stock console, but it seems like the people selling them never have the brackets that go with them.
