There is actually an exact temperature where you want the Hpipe to be. I dont know what it is offhand, but will find out. The way it *should* be done is to fine the correct temp, then using a temp gun find out exactly where it is on the exhaust and stick it in. Im sure the paint method is fine when you arent looking for every last .1hp.
