Go with Kugel Komponents linkage, You can get it for $50 at www.truckandcarshop.com I have a 700 R4 trans coupled to a stock 350 and am using it You can also get the overdrive indicator and this linkage is adjustable so that it will line up correctly. It is VERY easy to install and will save you a TON of headaches. You might be able to get it on Feebay cheaper. It is very similar to Lokar and is made in America.
