mostly street driving ???

the 500 over seems fine, the gearing and tire size will feel like a slightly higher stall.

all depends on how you want to drive it....we have a very nice Chevy SS driving around (fully built), probably has a 3500 stall, and it sounds nasty at idle...but in town driving it sounds ill due to the converter stall. it is not street friendly at all.
