I haven't looked at any of these you have described. I have leaned toward an old school Torq Thrust II for a long time. I'm in no hurry on the 18" wheels, honestly.
I would like to find some stock 15" steelies and caps in the meantime.

Don't sweat the speedway comment, I think they looked okay, just hated the rough jarring ride. They are more suited for a more modified truck in my opinion too. I think GM got the look perfect on these trucks in 1969. It's pretty hard to beat.
