Well I got started on removing paint today. It's going to be slow going, but I think it is worth it. I'm sanding with 320 grit wet paper, then using the palm sander with 1200 grit wet paper, then repeating until I'm happy. I'm using lots of pressure with both the hand sanding and the sander.
