I bought a 250 inline 6 5 years ago i'm planing on putting it in a 1968 longhorn the truck with the 8 1/2 foot bed.I'm converting it to a 1/2 ton just got the stock spindles from a 1973--87 chevy 1/2 ton changing the upper and lower ball joints the truck came with a 396 and 400 auto it came with factory AC and power steering will be adding power brakes and 3.73 posi rear end and putting a 700R4 or a 200R4 in it.Leaving it stock but putting in a cd player in the dash.A guy on eBay is selling a aftermarket brackets for the AC unit so you can run the HEI for 139 plus 15.00 shipped you have to use the different Compressor but i like to have the AC in the truck.

At one time thought i always run the 350 or 327 but with gas going up as much as it has i like to have a nice one to just enjoy
