Greg, that link for pirate will get him pretty much all he wants to know as it is full of tech.
If you need any Info about the SRW 3500 axle just ask. I have one sitting in the yard from a 99. Even has 3.5" brake drums. I know the 13" SRW drums won't clear a 16" dual rim without spacers. I tried. Maybe 17s would do it. Looks like the outermost bead on the drum is the hang up.
