Well I already had the 5.7 and planned on using it before we decided to use to 2001 frame, and the 5.3 has high mileage. As far as for the original 67', it will not be hacked up in the process. Actually it may turn into a father/son project for BR. The fenders needed to be replaced anyways and the cab was untouched. A lot of patch panels will be used in the building of this truck. Because the 2001 cab is a little wider, the hood will be sectioned, stretched and possible pan-caked. Same for the grill, tailgate, etc..
