Early Car Magazines

Have had these for awhile and have enjoyed reading and looking at these old early articles and pictures from times long past. All are in very nice condition given the age of Custom Cars is 66 years old and the Hot Rod is 62 years old. The sizes are about 5 1/4'' x 8''.

The CUSTOM CARS magazine is dated Nov. 1957 with many articles and pics from the early days of car culture and customizing. Ad on the back from "Honest Charley Speed Shop" Chattanooga, Tenn. Wow, the prices back then, LOL.

The HOT ROD Engine Swaps is from 1961 and has Robert E. Peterson listed as the Publisher. He was instrumental in the creation of many of the car magazines of the day to include: Car Craft, Rod & Custom, Off Road, Motor Trend and many others. Also created the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, Cal. The magazine has articles on engine swaps, fuel systems, exhaust, electrical, transmissions and more.

The Roster of Members 1982 is from the ''Early Ford V-8 Club of America''. Full roster of members at the time, official judging manual rules and by-laws, definitions used in judging. Great color pic front and back of a 1930's dealership / gas station.

Believe a few members here have an early Ford V-8, maybe your name is listed in here from those days? Some great reading from the earlier days of automotive rodding. $20 shipped for all three, money order, do not have Paypal.
