You may have something here! After this recent top end build I may have not got it back together properly! Have been concentrating on a bunch of other stuff. I see a cable groove going around both sides of the cam and so I think it can be routed either way. Also, that cam is adjustable to make the cable do different things as the throttle is moved through its arc.

The TrickFlow bracket replaced a Bowtie Overdrives bracket that was even more misaligned. The cam linkage is from Bowtie also.

Looking at it closer, you may have had to do it that way with your throttle set up. My throttle stuff is stock using an Eddie and TV setup.
