I am in rural southwestern Alaska, quite a ways from Fairbanks and North Pole. I currently don't have a truck of my own. I am driving a school owned '93 Chevy Suburban and have to fix it on a normal basis. I tried to buy an old '70 Chevy 1/2 ton 4X4 with an inline 6 in it. The family that owns it really don't want to sell it (actually, the guy did, but his wife said no...imagine that....). I had a '66 Chevy 1/2 ton longbed fleetside that only had 80,000 on it. Sold it to my brother and he still has it and plans to restore it (it sat for 15 years after the farmer's son whose estate I bought it from had died and he never drove it again). Anyway, I think I will try to convince this family to give up their '70 again. Hope you don't lose your truck in your big D... though I don't see how she is claiming it since you owned it before and her name was never on the title (if I remember everything you said about it).
