oh one thing I forgot to mention, the front will want to roll around a bit so make sure you chock the front and back of BOTH the front wheels before starting.



those chocks are actually part of the jack setup in the S10! I never knew what they were for, I have lots of them laying around now haha.


more overlap cutting



and one side done. you can see by cutting carefully that the only thing left to grind off is some weld and barely any of the frame.



both sides cut. stanchions doing their job well!



this is hard to see but on the far side you can see the angle cut, this is for clearance on the inside of some threaded holes. still plenty of overlap!
