Didn't someone ask something like this here recently?

I don't see how you would ever get it all without some type of blasting. You can see coatings left in low areas on grumpys pictures. May not matter if what is left is well adhered and not effected by whatever you spray on top of it.

I did a combination of sandpaper, 3m stripping disc and got the details with blasting... I did not have to do the inside of my cab corners, because I replaced enough of the cab corner and outer floor that it was all new metal.
